Military Restricts Satellite Data

by on Jun.11, 2009, under aliens

I wasn’t going to write about this until much later in the series, but since www.foxnews.com has decided to discuss the re-classification of scientific data from military and intelligence satellites that monitor in-bound objects in an article entitled “Military Covering Up Fireballs” I feel that I must do so now.

The typical civillian use of this information is study the activity of “impactors.”  These are essentially small asteriods that frequently contact the atmosphere, some of which can penetrate all the way to the surface.  The military primarily uses these systems for monitoring nuclear testing as well as ballistic missle testing.  What isn’t ever said is the other uses the satellite systems can be put to.

The satellite systems can, and do, detect alien ships arrving and departing from Earth.  The unstated risk is not that nuclear aspirant states like North Korea or Iran will learn how much information US satellites reveal about their endeavors but rather that civillians outside of the group that already knows about the alien presence will have access to the information.
